It’s true that we’ve come a long way from the first dielectric materials we produced. Back then we used dense, strong, slow grown Nordic pines to make capacitor paper. Today we use unique polymer blends created with the help of long-term statistics and customer feedback. In other words, we now spend our days improving the characteristics of plastic. Pine to polymer might seem like quite a leap, but to us it’s just a healthy sign of progress.
